David Thomas

Since 2017, Healthcare Computing (HC) has supported us in the delivery of our GP IT Refresh programme across our 7 CCGs areas.

Their GP IT background makes them a particularly strong partner as they understand the nuances of computing in general practice which leads to a faster, less disruptive and more economical deployment process.

HC has also assisted the Collaborative with deploying NHS WiFi services and HSCN to all 335 practices across North West London.

During 2019/20, HC has also supported us in preparing to transform our GP IT by moving it to the Cloud, following a robust process to identify our requirements and establish a technical design we are now moving forward.

Again, HC’s understanding of GP IT, coupled with their technical design capability and understanding of the Cloud, has brought a robustly assured outcome and North West London now looks forward to begin cutting practices over to the new system from early 2020.

The Collaboration’s Informatics service has continued to be complimented and strengthened by working with HC.
