Staff Harassment & Abuse
Healthcare Computing Ltd (HC) is committed to providing a professional service to our customers. It is our company ethos to provide a service that promotes a friendly, polite , helpful and caring attitude from all of our staff. We will always do our best to understand the nature of your work, the importance of the service you are delivering and your reliance on your IT infrastructure.
If you are unhappy with the service you receive from any of our employees please bring it immediately to our attention so that we can address this & ensure we maintain the high levels of service that we are proud of and you expect from us.
We also expect our staff to be treated in the same polite and courteous manner while they are at your Practice or talking to you on the phone trying to resolve your IT issues.
Healthcare Computing will not tolerate harassment or abuse towards its employees under any circumstances – Please treat our employees with the same respect you expect from us.
Harassment as defined in the Equality Act 2010 is:
Unwanted conduct related to a relevant protected characteristic, which has the purpose or effect of violating an individual’s dignity or creating an intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating or offensive environment for that individual.
The relevant protected characteristics are age, disability, gender reassignment, race, religion or belief, sex and sexual orientation.
Bullying may be characterised as:
Offensive, intimidating, malicious or insulting behaviour, an abuse or misuse of power through means that undermine, humiliate, denigrate or injure the recipient.
Please treat our employees with the same respect you expect from us. In the unlikely event that our employees are subjected to such behaviour HC will take appropriate action.
