Healthcare Computing’s successful fundraising at charity world cup
Congratulations to Healthcare Computing’s teams ITALY and COSTA RICA who competed at the charity world cup event on the 20th July for the benefit of Bournemouth Hospital Charity.
Everyone deserves a big cheer for their efforts. One of our teams, Italy, made it into the quarter finals and we all had a great day at Littledown Centre. Those of us who were more organised had a chance to jump in to the pool for a few lengths of swimming after the games!
Most importantly, HC raised by far the most amount of donations, officially confirmed by Bournemouth Hospital Charity.
HC team fundraising page and the players’ individual pages raised £395 in total. Healthcare Computing’s directors generously agreed to match any funds raised by the players so donated another £395 to the charity! In addition to this, one of our corporate associates AT&G donated a whopping £450 to our skilful football team’s fundraising efforts.
This brings the total amount raised by the Charity Football Tournament by Healthcare Computing teams to an amazing £1,240.
