Since the contract was signed in December, HC has been working with the team at NHS Dorset CCG to plan and prepare for the start of the new improved IT support service on 2nd February 2015.
Alan Betts, Deputy Director of Performance and Informatics at NHS Dorset CCG says: ‘When we went through the process of selecting a provider for these services we wanted someone with a proven track record in supporting primary care IT with whom we could establish a real partnership to support practices across the county. We are confident that Healthcare Computing are able to provide this and look forward to working closely with them over the coming years‘.
