Healthcare Computing Ltd, a leading provider of IT support solutions to GPs and PCTs in the UK, today announced that it has been shortlisted in the Service Desk Institute’s IT Service Awards, within the Small Team of the Year category. The awards – now in their 17th year – are the most coveted awards in the IT service and support industry and aim to recognise, promote and acclaim excellence, professionalism, innovation and the outstanding achievements of service desk teams.
The Healthcare Computing Service Desk is ITIL based and was one of the first non-NHS organisations to gain NHS Connecting for Health Accreditation.
Neil Payne, Managing Director of Healthcare Computing, says “We are thrilled to see our Service Desk recognised by such a respected institute as we invest a huge amount of time and resource into ensuring we meet our customers’ requirements in this area.”
There are two other shortlisted companies in the Small Team category and the winner will be announced on 19th June at the Service Desk Institute’s Award Dinner.
