Healthcare Computing – finalist in General Practice Awards 2013
Healthcare Computing is proud to announce it has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Communications Provider of the Year category of the national General Practice Awards 2013 (formerly the Management in Practice Awards).
This award seeks to recognise a communications provider which has provided outstanding up-to-the-minute advice to help GPs engage in effective communications across the board throughout 2013.
Healthcare Computing is a leading provider of IT support solutions to primary care. In 2012 the company launched HC VOICE with partners Voicenet, an industry changing telephony solution specifically for use in GP practices and Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs). HC VOICE enables practices to manage calls within the practice more efficiently, while offering economies of scale, cost efficiencies and centralisation. It enhances operational and workforce productivity by meeting the most demanding practice needs and ultimately helps practices better serve their patients. This innovative solution is already successfully deployed in a range of practices, with further sites set to go live in the coming months. Satisfied customers praise HC VOICE’s reliability and flexibility, enabling users to work from home and, most importantly, providing better access for patients.
Neil Payne, Managing Director of Healthcare Computing says: “It’s very rewarding that all the hard work we put into developing and launching our market leading solution HC VOICE is being recognised in this way.”
The GP Awards ceremony will be held at the Lancaster Hotel in London on 27th November 2013, where the final winners will be announced.
