HC VOICE deployed in further 10 surgeries
Healthcare Computing’s successful deployment of HC VOICE continues with a further 10 sites signing up for the solution. HC VOICE is an IGsoc compliant hosted Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) service which helps GP practices to improve patient access, while offering economies of scale, cost efficiencies and centralisation. The solution is designed for multiple sites working as one seamless system, enabling centralisation of reception desks and patient call handling without the need for multiple phone servers and expensive connectivity between sites.
Healthcare Computing is a leading provider of IT support solutions across 25 CCGs and with a number of CSUs, providing IT Infrastructure support to over 600 surgeries and was shortlisted in the Communications Provider of the year category in the 2013 General Practice Awards.
Neil Payne, Managing Director of HC, says: “Our HC VOICE solution is an example of our listening to our customers to provide the solutions they require. Following request from our customers, we have worked for 3 years to develop the IGsoc compliant solution, designed to remove a major telephony barrier to CCGs and practices working as groups. The adoption of hosted telephony in general practice is slow, but HC we believe that HC VOICE is a key enabler that every CCG should seriously consider as part of their plans for group working.”
Healthcare Computing (HC) will be demonstrating HC VOICE on their stand, J80, at the Commissioning Show at London’s Excel on 25th and 26th June.
