HC sponsors Long Term Condition category at General Practice Awards 2014
Healthcare Computing, a leading provider of IT support solutions, has announced that it is to sponsor the Long Terms Conditions Clinical Team of the Year category within 2014’s General Practice Awards. The prestigious awards, which were established in 2009, will take place this year on the evening of 20th November at the Lancaster Hotel in London.
The category for Clinical Team of the Year within Long Term Conditions recognises the nurses and teams of nurses whose expertise, professionalism, sensitivity and personalised care have made a huge difference to those suffering with various long-term health conditions. The award seeks to recognise and reward those teams who are dedicated to improving the standard of life for those who are suffering from chronic illnesses in need of constant monitoring and medication such as diabetes, asthma, coronary heart disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and mental health issues.
Healthcare Computing works across 25 CCGs and with a number of CSUs, providing IT infrastructure support to over 600 surgeries and was shortlisted in the Communications Provider of the year category in the 2013 General Practice Awards.
Neil Payne, Managing Director of HC, says: “We are very pleased to be supporting this category and look forward to meeting the successful teams on the night.”
