HC recommend best practices to prevent server failures due to high temperatures
HC use Proactive Server & Network monitoring solutions to alert the service desk if temperature thresholds are reached. This enables HC to help protect your servers and critical network equipment by notifying you if your equipment is overheating and making sure it continues functioning at optimal efficiency. In light of the hot weather we have been having recently, it is important that extra precautions are taken to avoid the potential failure of your equipment.
At HC we recommend you to keep your servers in air-conditioned rooms – but if this isn’t possible, a desk fan and an open window/door will help let the hot air escape.
