Neil PayneManaging Director
Neil's role is developing the business with the key focus of improving IT maturity for customers to improve patient care.
Neil has been at HC since 2001, as the business matured Neil's passion and vision for delivering progressive IT services underpinned by exceptional customer service resulted in progressing through HC. In 2008 Neil became Managing Director to resume responsibility for HC, since then Neil has built the teams and systems using best practice such as ISO and ITIL to extend our value services to NHS customers covering the most of the South Central UK.
Neil is a family man, plays football and is intereseted in anything technical.
Mathew TrudgillCustomer Account Director
Mathew's key role is the strategic account management of HC's clientele, developing stronger working relationships, and long term partnerships, with our customer base of CSU's, CCG's and GP Practices. Mathew has been with Healthcare Computing since 2003 and has overseen much change and successful growth, as Healthcare Computing have continued to adapt and redesign their managed service business to meet the ever changing requirements of primary care.
Before joining Healthcare Computing, Mathew was a manager with Thomas Cook for over 10 years. His main interests outside of work revolve around his family. He has a love of 5 aside football, travelling, good food and wine, and his garden including fish pond and chickens.
Richard HiettHead of Service
Richard is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of support whilst driving improvements to the services delivered to over 700 GP Practices and hospitals across the UK. Under his leadership the team are motivated to deliver the best customer service and IT support possible.
Richard manages an exceptional team of Service Managers, Service Desk Technicians and Field Engineers. In 2012 Richard helped the service team become one of the UK’s first non-NHS nationally accredited and recommended service desks by NHS Digital.
In his spare time Richard likes to spend time with his family, enjoys mountain biking and playing 5-a-side football.
Ed BramallHead of Projects and Change
Ed Bramall is the Head of Projects and Change and he manages all the non-support related work delivered for customers and the operational sales function of the business.
This has streamlined processes and responsibilities to improve outcomes for customers.
Ed has a keen interest in IT and a technical background. When the opportunity arose to manage the first PRINCE2 project the company ran, Ed jumped at the chance and attained PRINCE2 practitioner certification.
Ed lives with his wife and three daughters, keeping fit by going to the gym and is a keen student of martial arts, currently practicing Krav Maga.
Jon CookChief Technical Officer
As Chief Technical Officer at Healthcare Computing, and since joining the company in 2005, Jon always seeks to find an innovative and cost effective solution to meet the customers’ requirements; always aligning the technology to the problem and customers' needs.
Jon also leads the Technical Services team at Healthcare Computing, who are responsible for the design, installation, and on-going maintenance of on premise and cloud infrastructure services supporting our NHS clients.
In his spare time Jon is an avid supporter of the RSPCA and a keen runner recently completing the Reading Half Marathon in aid of the charity.
Nuria SanchezMarketing Manager
Nuria joined HC in a new role as Marketing Manager and she oversees the marketing department including branding, communications, advertising, and customer engagement through offline and online channels.
In this role, Nuria is responsible for marketing activities such as digital marketing, event management, website content, social media, partner relationships, advertising, and internal and external communications.
Nuria enjoys travelling abroad, and has a passion for outdoor sports, especially running around the local countryside. Nuria defines herself as a foodie person and she loves cooking all sort of recipes, Spanish cuisine is her favourite.
Nathan GalleysmithGeneral Manager
Nathan joined in 2016 following a relocation from Bristol. His responsibilities are to ensure efficient development and management of the general operations, including Health & Safety, HR, Facilities and Fleet Management. His role requires him to engage with all areas of the business, providing support and advice and identifying ways to improve processes and policies, ensuring to maintain the high standards of HC.
He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and skills from previous roles in IT, Telecoms and Retail and a B.Ed. (Hons) teaching degree. In his free time, Nathan enjoys real ales, great food, and exploring the Hants & Dorset countryside, recently has taken up running to improve his fitness.
