Hampshire PCT ZENworks Deployment

Posted by Mathew Trudgill on Thursday, 11 March, 2010

We have successfully deployed both Active X & the Microsoft Browser Choice blocker to all practices in Hampshire PCT remotely via ZENworks.

For Hampshire PCT sites only it is no longer necessary to manually run the blocker - but for surgeries in other PCTs covered by Healthcare Computing Support please see our advice and download the blocker.

Staff are very helpful and courteous which is very much appreciated. They are also very patient – being requested to do something remotely for those who are less computer literate is not always blindingly obvious – staff’s tolerance of this is much appreciated (this tolerance is not always shown elsewhere where people can be rather brusque!). Staff are very competent and thoughtful  - they do not try to fob you off with a quick answer and take time to make you feel they genuinely want to help you (again this is unusual elsewhere). Many thanks for a good service, it is appreciated

Great that it can be sorted out remotely – saves so much time.
